Roberto De Santis si diploma all’Istituto statale d’Arte di Fermo
e all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata.
La sua ricerca artistica, soprattutto pittorica ma anche grafica e scultorea, investe Il
rapporto fisico e mentale tra l’uomo e lo spazio.
Accompagnata da un rigore formale porta l’artista da una resa pittorica con strumenti
della tradizione, a sperimentare efficacemente sempre nuove tecniche e materiali.
A confermarlo mostre personali e adesioni a mostre tematiche nelle quali ha voluto
esporre i vari stadi di questa ponderata evoluzione.
Le sue opere sono presenti in collezioni pubbliche e private documentate da
importanti testi critici e da prestigiosi repertori a stampa nazionali e internazionali.
Attualmente residente in Sicilia a Militello in val di Catania. CT. Italia.
Roberto De Santis graduated from the State Art Institute of Fermo
and the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata.
His artistic research, mainly pictorial but also graphic and sculptural, involves the
physical and mental relationship between man and space.
Accompanied by a formal rigor it leads the artist, from a pictorial rendering with
traditional tools, to effectively experiment with new techniques and materials.
This is confirmed by solo exhibitions and participation in thematic exhibitions in which
he wanted to expose the various stages of this thoughtful evolution.
His works are present in public and private collections documented by
important critical texts and prestigious national and international printed repertoires.
Currently residing in Sicily in Militello in the Catania valley. CT. Italy.
